We are all looking to create an abundant life, but how do we go about it? Abundance can seem to be a distant or unreachable goal, but in this blog I’ll share a message from my spirit guide with inspiration and tips you can easily implement in your daily life to begin attracting or creating an experience of abundance in your life.
The following is the spiritual message that was shared with me:
Let go of the heaviness – in your body, in your mind and in your life. Whatever is blocking or ‘cluttering’ you makes you heavy and stuck, so in order to attract abundance, a lot of the work is simply making space.
Clear your mind through a daily meditation where you practice watching and letting go of your thoughts. That can be done also during your daily tasks – it’s called mindfulness.
It’s harder to get stuck and identify with your thoughts when you are aware and mindful – when you are the witness.
Loosen up your body and include in your diet something that nourishes you the natural way.
Your emotions need to be balanced too, and both watching the thoughts and taking care of the body will affect the emotions in a positive way.
Making space in your physical environment can also have a great impact – it’s important both symbolically and practically in making space for abundance to enter your life.
But what IS abundance to you, anyway? Clarifying that will bring you closer to getting it.
Even if you have a lot of ‘things’, you don’t necessarily feel abundant, do you?
Abundance is first of all a feeling – a feeling or state of harmony, of trust and faith, of the peace and lightness that comes from letting go of what you don’t need on the inside and outside – of being fully in the present moment, knowing you have enough. Of knowing that we live in an abundant universe. Of experiencing you are not separate from everything else.
Abundance is yours when you let go of your limited view of yourself and embrace the infinite you – the infinite you which has infinite choices and infinite possibilities in an infinite universe, where each one of us is an individual as well as a part of a bigger whole.
What does an abundant life look like to you?
See it, feel it, describe it to yourself as clearly as possible.
It’s not about how much money you have – money is just part of it. It’s more choosing and being able to live the life your heart guides you to live, and living with an open heart that meets each new day with gratitude.
For when you meet the world and each day with gratitude and with an open heart, you also open to the abundance that’s available and in your life right now.
Consciously opening up to and attracting abundance includes letting go, making space, opening your heart, and approaching your life and the world with gratitude and appreciation, and last, but not least, connecting with your dream.
See each new day as a new beginning – a clean slate. Open up to and acknowledge all the possibilities each new day contains. Meet it with awareness and gratitude; and stay in the present moment.
As for your dream: You keep that in your heart. Your dream is not some distant goal – it’s a feeling, an image you carry in your heart and that is part of your life now.
Gratitude is essential, for the more you practice gratitude, the more you’ll find to be grateful for.
1) What are 3 things you are grateful for? Write them down.
2) What are you inspired to do today? What does your heart guide you to do?
3) What gift of gratitude can you give or how can you show appreciation to someone today?
