Cornflower wisdom on breaking through obstacles

Cornflower Wisdom - Give Your Dream Wings - Marianne Soucy 940 shadowIn this article I will share a Sacred Spirit Journey I did for a client where a cornflower came forward with insights on breaking through the obstacles that he felt kept holding him back in his life and business. The following is what happened:

As I begin the Shamanic Sacred Spirit Journey, I experience walking with bare feet on grass. I connect with the earth below me. It feels good to walk on the soft earth. Next to me is my spirit guide. Eagle is here too, flying above us. Around us are many different kinds of wild flowers. So far no particular flower stands out or comes forward. I look at my spirit guide, and he smiles to me. We stop walking, sit down on the ground. I feel drawn to lie down. Resting on the soft earth, looking up in the deep blue sky. I sense life below me. Many seeds in the ground are getting ready to grow; some are already growing. They send me a message:

“As we live in the fertile soil, we await the right time and then reach for the sun. He [ie. the person I am journeying for] is like a seed – full of potential. The blooming flower is already within him.

When the conditions are right – whether you create them or experience them as right – and you go by deep knowledge or intuition, then reach for the sun. You can already feel it long before you can see it. For you the sun can be your vision – the blooming flower that drives you. As you connect with vision, feel the pull to grow and let all else fall away.

Use any flower as your teacher and example. We don’t think: “I can’t do it.” Don’t let your doubting mind sabotage the unfolding of your vision.

Recognize the beauty of your true self. Just like every flower is unique, you need to let your unique self unfold and shine.

Allow yourself to grow into the magnificent flower that you are.”

A blue cornflower appears, grows and blooms close to us.

“I take the color of the sky – as a reminder of my infinite self.

Connect with me to reconnect with and remember the unlimited potential within you and the infinite being that you are.

Merging with the color sky blue – or with the blue sky, can help you break out of the limited thinking. You are not the limited self you take yourself to be – you are powerful, beautiful, and strong.

A flower may appear weak or fragile, but yet we have the strength to grow and break through the hardest soil and surface. Strength is more internal than external. With us as your teacher you can’t go wrong. Gentle strength, beauty, joy and new life is yours today.

Many blessings to you.”

Marianne: “Thank you so much. Anything else?”

Cornflower: “That is it for now. We look forward to your return. We have much to teach.”

Marianne: “I look forward to it too. This is exciting. See you.”

There’s so much joy. The nature landscape I’m in is not just beautiful and peaceful as usual, but it’s now also so full of joy. As if I’ve connected with the bursting life, joy and energy that’s inside the magnificent flowers and plants. Like they are all talking, singing.

“We are”, they say.

I smile: “Bye for now”

“See you soon”, they say. I give thanks and end the journey.

Action step: Connect with a flower to give you insights on a problem

There are several ways you can connect with flowers to gain insights into a problem or challenge you have, besides doing a shamanic or Sacred Spirit Journey like I just shared with you.

Another way could be as follows:

Take a moment to get calm, perhaps do a meditation, and then think about a problem or challenge you would like help or insights on. When you’re clear on that, then go down in your heart space and connect with your heart – and from there send out your intention or request to connect with a flower. Imagine being in a nature area or in a garden – as you imagine looking around, what is the first flower that comes to mind? If no particular flower comes to mind right away, then pay attention to what color you ’see’. If you were to pick or name a color right now, without thinking, what color would that be?

Flowers and colors are often connected. When you have a flower and/or color, there are several ways of gaining insights from them. Here are a few:

1) Don’t interpret, but simply connect with or meditate on the color of the flower. This way you’re connecting more on an energetic level.

2) Look up the meaning of flower or color on the internet or in a book (as an inspiration only and as a supplement to what your intuition or heart tells you the meaning is).

3) Connect with the flower or color for instance by using the Sacred Spirit Writing technique, to learn what message they have for you.

Comments

  1. Lovely journey, Marianne, and I love cornflowers. I’ll have to try connecting with some of the flowers in my garden since I’ve not tried that before. Thanks for the wonderful spiritual tip!

  2. Your walks are so inspirational. I love the wisdom of the flowers. I received a profound message from Morning Glories that I wrote about a while ago. So much wisdom in these ancient messengers. xox, Reba

  3. Wonderful visualization of the inner strength in all of us. In the Tarot cards, there is a card usually called Strength, that refers to exactly this kind of “pushing through” and acceptance. In one deck, it’s called “Courage” and features a flower growing from a crack in the sidewalk. Just grow!
