April Love Musings 5 – Dear Intuition

Dear Intuition,

For years, I didn’t really listen to you – my intuition, the voice of my heart, my soul – I simply didn’t know better. I trusted others more than I trusted my own heart.

But little by little, As I was feeling the hole that was in my soul, and I was feeling my soul’s yearning to find expression in my life and seek what was missing, I began to find my way to my heart and listen to its voice.

I’m grateful, intuition, for you, for you guide me on my path to finding and expressing who I really am.

You are the knowing I get when I listen and feel carefully; when I become aware.

You are the voice of my spirit guide – the essence or manifestation of compassion, whose purity, joy, unconditional love and wisdom support and guide me in my life.

The center of it all is the heart. That’s where you reside.

And as I go about my daily life, and practice becoming aware and listen to my heart, I not only feel the inner knowing or hear the inner voice, but I also see and meet signs and synchronicities in the physical world that clearly show me, that inner and outer are connected, and that I can create – that I AM creating – my life with the universe.
It’s interesting how, when I truly listen to my heart, I open up to the world around me too, especially nature, animals, the Earth, and they have so much to teach, for they have not lost sight of the essence of who they are. It is we humans who have lost that.

Listening to nature, and embracing the wisdom and healing from the Earth and its beings, is one of the greatest gifts we can allow ourselves to receive.

And as we open our heart, we also open to gratitude, and we are then able to give back and express our gratitude to the Earth – our Home.

When we listen to our intuition, we are guided to walk the path of the heart, and the path of the heart includes loving ourselves as well as those we meet.

It’s a process, and sometimes not an easy thing to do. But if you listen carefully, then you will see that your heart is telling you to not only give and receive love, but to BE love.

So you see, dear intuition, listening to you has had – and still has – a deep impact on my life.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I promise to keep practicing being aware, and to keep listening to your voice. I know where to find it.
