Spirit insights from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards – and A Sacred Spirit Journey
In this article, I am seeking spirit insights on and helpful suggestions for you who wish to find your voice and speak your truth.
I decided to consult the Goddess Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and follow up with a shamanic journey for further insights.
Often I get insights or impressions already as I prepare myself and the cards, and this time a I was preparing to draw the cards, I first experienced being inside a circle with my spirit guide, and with a number of goddesses forming the circle itself. Then I had the feeling of walking (as being the one the cards were being drawn for) into a temple with the goddesses. I was asked to take off my shoes. It was a very ‘spa-like’ temple – bath, massage and other wellness and health treatments.
As I draw the cards, the first is Sekhmet (‘Be Strong’), followed by 3 cards that jump out of the deck: Coventina (‘Purification’), Kuan Yin (‘Compassion’) and Maat (‘Fairness’).
Following the drawing of the cards, I do the journey to get further insights, and as I begin the journey, I’m back in the circle again.
Sekhmet steps forward
She is accompanied by a large lion. They are both powerful and strong. She greets us and says:
“I have come not just to offer my strength but to remind you of the strength you can find within yourself. Don’t always look to the outside for strength and support, but acknowledge and embrace the strength you have inside.
You’re stronger than you think, and when I show up, it’s time to step into that inner strength. Asking others for help is fine, but let it not be with the perspective that you are or feel powerless.
Invite me into your life, and recognize my strength and power as yours.”
Coventina steps forward and says:
“Reclaiming your strength – the strength to find your voice and speak your truth – means cleansing, purifying and strengthening the inner as well as the outer you. Pay attention to the thoughts you have about yourself and others, and let go of blame.
Purify your body – for example by detoxing, a more healthy diet and exercise.
What do you need to implement in your daily life to purify and strengthen your body and mind?”
Kuan Yin steps forward and says:“Be gentle with yourself and let go of judgments.
Move into your heart and find the light and love that’s there and look at yourself and other through compassionate eyes.
See not only the surface or the wrong that has been done, but return to the heart, and choose your path to be one of the heart. Let not circumstances or beliefs keep you in pain or in hiding.
Let your heart be your guide.”
Maat steps forward and she says:“Speaking the truth doesn’t mean just ‘your’ truth. Take the higher perspective, where the fairness you seek is the highest good of all involved. Remember it’s not about getting even, blaming or keep seeing yourself as a victim.
Take responsibility for your own thought and actions and look within to see what you can do to attain a peaceful solution and take action to come out of hiding; to speak up, take a stand for yourself – not by standing upon others, but by confidently, compassionately standing in your power – being your authentic self, not the victim you and perhaps others have seen.

Speaking the truth is also about allowing yourself to shine your light, so take time to connect with your heart’s desires and your soul’s gifts; and as you’re beginning to share those gifts and do more of what brings you joy – and don’t hold back out of fear of ridicule or judgment – you will be an inspiration to others and motivate them to shine their light as well.
As you take in the wisdom of us all, you’re ready to step into your feminine power and live a soulful, joyful life.
