A video and photo of a dying polar bear has been circling the internet over the last few days (here in December 2017) and as I opened the local newspaper, I saw an image of the dying polar bear again. As I looked at the heartbreaking photo of the polar bear, I felt in my heart that the polar bear was calling out to me to be connected with. That there was a message that needed to be shared.
So I begin a Sacred Spirit Journey, and set the intention to connect with the spirit of the polar bear. I used my Sacred Spirit Writing technique to capture the precise words of the, now dead, polar bear.
My spirit guide is with me. He has a lit candle that he is carrying.
“We bring the light”, my spirit guide says.
It is dark around us, but we bring the light. The light that is needed in the world comes from within. From the hearts of each person who reaches out to another living being from their heart.
The light that we carry, we send down in the Earth along with our deep gratitude. We are part of the Earth; and what happens to the Earth, happens to us.
As we send down light, gratitude and love into the Earth, the web of light expands deep and wide, blessing all beings we meet. As we move our awareness up again, we do so with the energy and gifts of the Earth, holding it with love in our heart, and then sending it up, high up, in a huge tree crown shape of light and awareness.
The light and energy from the universe comes down through us – the energy of the Earth and the sky blending, merging within us, with the center in our hearts.
From there, we find ourselves in a landscape, sitting on the ground.
The skinny polar bear from the photo/video, approaches us. My spirit guide has put out a big bowl of his healing, energizing water. The polar bear spirit drinks and looks better and stronger afterwards.
Polar bear says:
Marianne: “What steps can we take?”
Polar bear says:
We thank polar bear, say goodbye and see the bear walk away. I end the journey.
There’s hope if we wake up; if we reach out and see the whole instead of only the parts.
May polar bear’s message inspire and guide you today.
Blessings,
Marianne Soucy

Polar bear says:
“I am the symbol of the impoverished spirit of humans today. I am the sign of the imbalance that your culture and way of life has caused on and within the Earth.
Throughout centuries, I have been the symbol of great power, willingly teaching anyone with an open heart how to find the strength within and how to survive in challenging environments of all kinds. I hold those gifts within me still, in spirit, but without the respect and heightened awareness of humans and a drastic change in priorities, a fellow Earth being, relative and guide will vanish, causing your souls to lose part of your light – and a star in the night sky that has always been shining brightly will die and darkness take its place.
I represent a call to awareness.
My fate speaks of the urgency of returning to a life lived from the heart; a life where all beings are seen as related – as equal parts of the web.
All come from and return to The One Light – the light which shines in all.
We are not separate, you and I.
When you hurt me, you hurt yourself.”

Polar bear says:
“Let each person become aware in their own life, because a change on a global level always begins within each heart.
Return daily to a life lived from the heart, and that means a life lived with presence, respect, awareness, kindness, and reaching out to others in need.
It also means a daily return to living a life of gratitude and appreciation of all the little things you take for granted in your life.
Move out of your mind and away from a way of thinking that expresses and represents separation and limitations, and move back into the heart where wonder, connectedness and true inner strength lives.
If you do, you will find me there.
Although I’m not in physical form anymore, I am connected to the whole and will gladly help and guide anyone with a pure heart who walks the path of peace and heart.
Let my passing and fate be an awakening and a lesson.
Return to the lessons and teachings of old. They can help you make yourselves and the Earth whole again.
In peace.”
